Using and Installing an eSIM
There are two primary methods for installing a Roamify eSIM on Android devices:
We recommend utilizing the QR Code Method, offering a more direct and efficient installation process.
***Please ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection during the process!***
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on Connections
3. Tap on SIM Manager
4. Tap on 'Add eSIM'
5. Tap on 'Scan QR code from service provider'
6. Scan the QR Code you received from Roamify.
7. Tap on Add and wait (it can take a couple of minutes; please be patient)
8. The installation is done now.
9. Tap on your newly installed eSIM.
10. Tap 'Name' to rename it. We recommend you call it, for example, 'Roamify Europe.'
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on Connections
3. Tap on SIM Manager
4. Tap on 'Add eSIM'
5. Tap on 'Scan QR code from service provider'
6. Tap 'Enter activation code'
7. Paste the activation code from the email or the app(if you are a registered customer), and tap Connect.
8. Tap on Add and wait (it can take a couple of minutes; please be patient)
9. The installation is done now.
10. Tap on your newly installed eSIM.
11. Tap 'Name' to rename it. We recommend you call it, for example, 'Roamify Europe'.
***Only do this at your destination!!!***
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on Connections
3. Tap on SIM Manager
4. Tap on your Roamify eSIM
5. Tap on 'Mobile data'
6. Select Roamify eSIM as your SIM for data
7. Go back to Connections
8. Tap on 'Mobile networks'
9. Turn on Data Roaming
10. Go back to Connections
11. Tap on 'Data usage'
12. Make sure Mobile data for Roamify eSIM is on!
