Yes — you can use VoIP apps to make calls with your Roamify eSIM. Since Roamify plans include data connectivity, any app that makes calls over an internet connection will work.
VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol. It’s the technology behind any app that lets you call someone over a data connection rather than a traditional cellular voice plan. If you’ve ever called someone on WhatsApp or FaceTime using Wi-Fi or mobile data, you’ve used VoIP.
All major VoIP apps are compatible with Roamify eSIM plans, including:

Keep this in mind when choosing a data plan, especially for longer trips.
VoIP calls do not use your local phone number. Calls are made through the app, not through the cellular voice network. Your contacts need to have the same app installed (or a compatible one) to receive your call.
Some countries restrict VoIP apps. A small number of countries limit or block certain VoIP services. Notable examples include the UAE (which restricts WhatsApp and Skype calls) and China (which blocks most foreign apps). Check local regulations for your destination before you travel.
Data roaming must be enabled. Make sure data roaming is turned on for your Roamify eSIM line. Without it, your apps won’t have a data connection to work with.
